Rethinking leadership assessment for a complex world

Rethinking Leadership Assessment

Our latest study shows that facilitated by the pandemic and other more usual drivers of change, the expectations on leaders are very different from even just 12 months ago. And yet assessment approaches are not keeping up. There are also potentially costly disconnects between assessment for selection, and the talent identification and development of leaders, which is not helping to build the qualities sought to lead in today's conditions.

Assessment practices for the demands of today

As organisations are challenged to identify and develop leaders who can navigate increasingly complex and uncertain environments, our study into current leadership assessment practices reinforces the view that different ways of approaching leadership assessment is required.
